Congratulations to the senior design team of Kieran Conroy, Nicholas Cradlin, and Gautam Veerapaneni, advised by Dr. Hasan Ayaz, on presenting their updates on the project “Electroencephalography-Based Brain Computer Interface Systems Classification Improvement.” The team developed and evaluated an EEG-based P300 BCI classification pipeline, comparing a literature-based baseline approach with machine learning strategies designed to improve robustness for real-time applications. Their results achieved 96.15% accuracy using all EEG channels and approximately 92 to 93% accuracy with a reduced 19-channel subset, establishing a strong baseline for future deep learning work. We are proud of their excellent efforts and presentation.
