Ayaz Lab was pleased to participate in ANT Neuromeeting 2026 – Philadelphia, held at One North Broad Street, Grand Ballroom, Philadelphia. The meeting brought together researchers and clinicians working across neuroimaging, neuromodulation, and brain monitoring technologies.
Professor Hasan Ayaz delivered the opening keynote on April 15, 2026, titled “Brain Monitoring Beyond the Laboratory: fNIRS Across Disciplines and Real-World Contexts.” The keynote highlighted the growing importance of moving brain monitoring beyond tightly controlled laboratory settings into more realistic, ecologically valid environments.
The lab was also represented in the poster session by two PhD students, Kevin Ramirez Chavez and Zuhal Ormanoglu, showcasing ongoing work from Ayaz Lab. A special congratulations goes to Kevin for receiving the Best Poster Award for his presentation, “Mobile EEG Assessment of Theta-Band Activity During Screen Viewing and Naturalistic Play in Young Children With and Without Autism.”
We are proud to see the Lab contribute across multiple levels of the meeting and congratulations to Kevin and Zuhal for representing the lab so well, and thanks to ANT Neuro for organizing an excellent meeting in a remarkable Philadelphia venue.
