Prof. Hasan Ayaz participated as a speaker in the Biotech & Wellbeing panel at the Turkish Philanthropy Funds Innovation & Social Impact Summit, held in New York City on April 23, 2026.
The summit brought together leaders from science, technology, philanthropy, entrepreneurship, and social impact to discuss how innovation can be translated into meaningful benefits for individuals and communities. The Biotech & Wellbeing panel focused on the future of health innovation, including emerging opportunities at the intersection of biomedical engineering, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, neurotechnology, and human wellbeing.
During the panel, Dr. Ayaz shared perspectives from Ayaz Lab’s work in neuroergonomics, wearable brain monitoring, mobile neuroimaging, and translational neuroengineering. He highlighted the importance of developing technologies that are scientifically rigorous, human-centered, and applicable in real-world settings, with the potential to support brain health, performance, and wellbeing.
