Congratulations to Kevin Ramirez-Chavez on successfully completing his PhD proposal in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems at Drexel University.
Kevin’s dissertation proposal is titled “Neurophysiological and Perceptual Responses to Real and Virtual Environments: A Multimodal Neuroergonomic Study of Brain–Body–Environment Interaction.” His research investigates how humans respond to natural, built, and virtual environments by integrating wearable neuroimaging, physiological sensing, behavioral measures, and perceptual assessments.
This work advances the lab’s broader mission of studying brain and body function in real-world and ecologically valid contexts, with applications in neuroergonomics, environmental neuroscience, virtual reality, human performance, and brain health.
Congratulations to Kevin on this important milestone, and we look forward to the next stages of his dissertation research.
