We are proud to share that Yigit Topoglu, PhD student in Biomedical Engineering, received the Dean’s Award for Best Research Poster Presentation at the Drexel Emerging Graduate Scholars Conference.

Yigit was recognized for his poster titled:
“Using fNIRS and oxytocin to explore face-to-face naturalistic human-robot conversations: A multimodal neuroergonomic approach.”

This award highlights the quality and innovation of Yigit’s research, which brings together functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS), human-robot interaction, and oxytocin-informed multimodal neuroergonomics to better understand brain and behavioral dynamics during naturalistic social communication. His work reflects the lab’s broader mission of studying brain function in realistic, everyday contexts using advanced wearable neurotechnology and interdisciplinary approaches.

We congratulate Yigit on this well-deserved recognition and look forward to seeing this exciting line of research continue to grow.
